When the Egyptians mistreated the Hebrews, Pharaoh decreed that every firstborn male of the Israelites should die. Moses was cast into the Nile by his mother, and while Pharaoh's daughter was in the distance, his mother, so that he would not die, cast him into the river current. He was raised as an Egyptian. He returns to the people of Israel, crossing the Red Sea. One day Moses ascended Mount Sinai to meet GOD, where he received the 10 commandments, but also instructions on how to build an object of the Jewish faith.
